Lexus is Toyota's luxury brand. It has been sold through its own dealer network in Japan since 2005, so Japanese auctions carry a steady supply of Japanese-market RX and NX SUVs, the flagship LX, the LC coupe and convertible, and the LM luxury MPV.

Japanese-market Lexus models share much of their mechanical hardware with Toyota, which helps with parts and servicing in markets where Toyota is common. Many cars are sold after their first or second shaken inspection with dealer service records, which is a good starting point for a premium purchase.

Japan's shaken roadworthiness inspection (first at three years, then every two) and the country's low average annual mileage mean many cars reach auction with a documented history and modest kilometres for their age. On hybrid models (badged "h"), check the hybrid-system notes on the auction sheet. On the LX and LM, the higher grades and recent model years hold their value strongly, so the price range on this page is wide.

Model changes matter for price. The LX600 replaced the LX570 in 2022, and the NX and RX moved to new generations in 2021 and 2022, so a late example of the previous generation is often the value choice. The LM is a luxury MPV related to the Toyota Alphard.
