Porsche cars from Japan
Japan has an active market for Porsches, and well-kept 911s and Taycans regularly appear at Japanese auctions. The cars buyers ask us for are the 911 Carrera, 911 Turbo S, the track-focused GT3, GT3 RS and GT2 RS, limited editions such as the Sport Classic, and the electric Taycan.
For GT and limited models, originality, options and documented servicing drive the price more than age. Ask for the service book, check for track use and confirm that the options listed on the auction sheet match the car.
We track 5 Porsche models from model years 2016 to 2025. Recent Japanese auction prices run from about $100,000 to $500,000 FOB, depending on model, grade and mileage (estimates, as of 2026-06-28).
Right-hand or left-hand drive?
European cars sold new in Japan were offered in both right- and left-hand drive, so Japanese auction stock includes both. Each auction sheet records the steering side, and we confirm it before any bid. We do not convert steering, so pick a car that already matches your country’s rules.
